NXE May Leave Some In The Dark

Recent news about the NXE (New Xbox Experience), may force some users to make additional purchases. In a recent interview Major Nelson of the Xbox Live development team revealed that the NXE, which will include the ability to create player avatars among other things, will require 128MB of storage space to download. What does this mean? Xbox users using the 64MB memory unit will have to purches a harddrive or larger memory unit to partake in the new Experince. While those who are using the 258MB memory unit will be forced to anti-up about half of their storage space. Since most users opt to purchase a harddrive, or purchase an xbox that comes pre-packaged with a harddrive this doesn't figure to be a huge issue. But it could leave some xbox owners with a sour taste in their mouths.
