NFL Picks: Week 4 Results / Week 5 Picks

The NFL season is already nearly 25% complete through the regular season. But we've only covered the frosting of my cake. The cake that I like to call the NFL. Also, the cake that we here call the NFL Picks. Let's see the good, the bad and the ugly!

Here were some more interesting tidbits I saw in our Week 4 picks:

-Deus Legend was the ONLY person to pick BOTH the San Francisco 49ers and the St. Louis "Crams", and got both of these NFC West teams WRONG, as they lost in style.
-Deus Legend made up for his confidence in the NFC West teams by being the only guy to pick Jim Zorn, a former Seattle Seahawk, and his Washington Redskins to take down the "Ballas" Cowboys.
-Finch865 was the ONLY member of our picks to pick the Oakland Raiders over the San Diego SuperChargers, and got it WRONG.
-Finch865 made up for his previous mistake by going with his gut and being the ONLY person to get the Tampa Bay Buccaneers CORRECT over the Green Bay Packers. He trusted Matt Bryant, and our prayers are with Matt Bryant and his family for their terrible family loss.
-Stopable was the ONLY person to pick the Houston Texans to take down the Jacksonville Jaguars, and barely got it WRONG. Good try though Stopable...
-EVERYBODY picked the Philadelphia Eagles and the Denver Broncos, and got them BOTH WRONG.

Here's the rundown of our Week 4 leaders:

T1.)Jerhawk / 7
T1.)JRC 865 / 7
T1.)Finch865 / 7
T1.)Flynn4DaWin / 7
2.)UnKillableBeast / 6
T3.)Deus Legend / 5
T3.)Stopable / 5

Did not pick: El Bos

Here are our overall leaders through Week 4:

1.)Flynn4DaWin / 38
2.)JRC 865 / 36
3.)Jerhawk / 34
T4.)Deus Legend / 32
T4.)Stopable / 32
5.)UnKillableBeast / 31
6.)Finch865 / 21
7.)El Bos / 7

So, it's still pretty close. Flynn4DaWin still has the top spot, but JRC 865 is in hot pursuit!

Here's the rundown of our Week 5 games:

Tennessee @ Baltimore

Kansas City @ Carolina

Chicago @ Detroit

Atlanta @ Green Bay

Indianapolis @ Houston

San Diego @ Miami

Seattle @ N.Y. Giants

Washington @ Philadelphia

Good luck everyone! Thanks for your participation in our NFL Picks, and I hope that you enjoy it so far! If you have any suggestions, comments, complaints, etc. please send me a message on Xbox Live or on here. I have a few ideas in mind for how we should go about the NFL Playoffs in our Picks when we get to that point, but if you have some ideas I'd love to hear them! Thanks!

  2. Let me start by saying that the Redskins got completely lucky. The refs missed tons all game and I think that sort of screwed us. Not 2 mention r onsider should of been recovered but Sam Hurd drop it! Thats ok its only week 4 going on week 5 and Dallas is still the best team in the Nfl.

    Ravens
    Panthers
    Bears
    Packers
    Colts
    Chargers
    Seahawks*please win*
    Eagles
    Broncos
    Buffalo
Dallas*Dallas will go 14-2 this year, losing there last game because they bench everyone*
    New England
    Jacksonville
    Minnesota

PS whats up with the BALLAS? Are there that many haters of my boys' out there?

  4. Tennessee will have a tough game this week, but I still think we should come away with the victory. The Ravens are coming off a OT loss against the Steelers, and have some injuries to deal with. Not to mention a short week of rest after that hard hitting game.

    Titans
    Panthers
    Bears
    Falcons
    Colts
    Chargers
    Giants
    Eagles
    Broncos
    Bills
    Cowboys
    Patriots
    Steelers
    Saints

  5. How is calling the Cowboys the "Ballas" being a hater? It's meant to be a compliment.

  8. yeah, I thought that it was pretty funny. The "ballas." The Cowboys are basically an all-star team, so they're like "ballas." I seem to make many things into a joke, including life. How sad...
